Under the hinged lid lies a turntable for 33/45/78 rpm records. The Music Centre also features a CD player, AM/FM Radio, & USB / SD Card interface to enable MP3 playback. Two 5w speakers deliver great stereo sound for quality listening. The record player is single loading with a centre stop for records that do not have middles and the speed can be varied take 33 / 45 and 78 rpm. Excellent product. We have had many happy hours listen to all our music on different formats. The reason for only four stars the music centre does not have an socket for headphones, which is a great shame.

We had an idea for my mates birthday to buy him this as he's always wanted to start a record collection but hasn't the money to start up. (students!) we got him this as well as a couple of records and I am pleased that he was delighted with it. We immediately tried it out and were impressed. For such a small unit, the sound it puts out is excellent. Back in Black has never sounded better. (apart from live maybe) the record mechanism is a bit tricky to use initially, but once you get the hang of it it works just fine. There have been some comments that the build of the turntable and lid are fragile. I would disagree though. Its certainly not the most robust thing I've seen, but as long as you're not an idiot with it it shouldn't break. This unit also looks amazing for the price, having a warm retro feel and looking like it cost far more than it did. I think I may buy one for myself. Thanks for helping my mate have the perfect bday present.

I am impressed with the service I ordered 21st and it was delivered 23rd - I ordered this for my daughters birthday so I have not seen it myself as my daughter lives in Wales and I had it delivered direct. She has raved about the sound quality not expecting such quality of sound from the built in speakers and also the beauty of the product. I would recommend this product
