I've had this for about 2 months now. Unpacked it, stuck in 2x250 SATA disks I had, plugged it in and it's been running almost nonstop ever since. I use it to store all kinds of data from large video files to standard word & excel docs. The interface is as good as any I've seen. It supports FAT32, EXT2 & EXT3 disk formats, but not NTFS, however it can read NTFS disks plugged into the USB ports. The network interface is gigabit so access is faster than some other products. Build quality is first class. It's quiet and I've never known it to get hot. It even looks good !!

I bought this ZyXEL back in Mar09 inserted a couple of Maxtor 500GB drives into it, running in mirror RAID mode. The unit is used as a central store for all of the families Photo's and Video. Plus each user has a area to backup personal data. It takes about 50secs to boot-up from pwr-on. It is reasonably quiet. No problems at all so far (Jul09) have not used it in the web-server mode or Bitcommet mode so can't comment on the performance of these built in functions.
