I'm currently onto my second pair, I do absolutely love the sleek design, how comfortable it fits over my ears and the sound quality. My first pair was green (chosen because it reminded me of a green Chiclets gum), it lasted ~1.5 - 2 years during which the outer square hard shell started detaching from the faux-leather cushion. This was easily repaired. Overall I was very impressed with the amount of wear-and-tear this pair of headphones was able to withstand, especially because I would often stuff it into my crowded bag. The sound quality was good for this price, especially the bass (depending on the type of music you like to listen to, these headphones may be perfect for you and provide sufficient oomph). The cable eventually became loose on the inside and I was no longer receiving output from the right side.
My current black pair arrived a bit imperfect, with mild scratches and a dusty look inside the intact packaging, it didn't look as perfect and polished as my first, I was surprised by the inconsistency here, but what mattered most to me was durability and quality sound. Having learned my lesson from my first pair, I tried to be as gentle as possible with this pair. 9 months down the road, I started to notice the bass was gone and so the music became rather flat. Occasionally with a spontaneous bend of the cable, I would regain full sound quality. I think it's a loose cable again. Maybe it's just me not being gentle enough, or Zumreed headphones have a history of loose headphones, I'm not sure.
From reading the previous reviews, I realize I am not alone.
