How come I never heard of this guy untill recently I will never know!
Once while watching Classical FM, Pavarotti was joined by someone resembling a tramp. Then some time later I saw this again and thought it was an excellent 'song', so I kept a note pad and pen handy for if it came on again. 'Miserere' it was, but I struggled to find it on the internet untill I searched for Zucchero and came accross these reviews.
What a good CD it is, his voice seems familiar, like a cross between Joe Cocker, Bryan Adams and Rod Stewart all rolled into one. I played it the whole way through on first listen - which says something - as that never happens with me, and enjoyed every track. I am a hi-end hi fi person and found the recording quality to be very good considering the date of some of these tracks. My only critisism is that Miserere seems to be stuck on at the end as it has a lower recording volume level than the rest. In the context of this CD that is being pernickety.
SUMMARY: - An excellent CD with something on it for everyone. BUY IT.
