Product Description
Zovirax Cold Sore Cream can be used at the tingle stage of a cold sore, and clinical studies show that early treatment with Zovirax can prevent a cold sore developing. Zovirax Cold Sore Cream can also speed up the healing process. Interaction Precautions: Only use the cream on cold sores on your lips and face. Do not use the cream inside your mouth, or to treat mouth (aphthous) ulcers. If you are in any doubt whether your sore is a cold sore, consult your doctor. If you have ever had an allergic reaction to aciclovir or propylene glycol, consult your pharmacist or doctor before using your cream. Do not use this product for herpes infections of the eye or the genital area. If your cold sore is, or becomes very severe, you should consult your doctor. Do not use this product if you are under the care of a doctor because of a weak immune system (i.e. your ability to fight infections is reduced). Remember - Cold Sore are infectious. The virus may infect other parts of the body. To reduce the risk of passing the infection on, avoid kissing, sharing towels etc, kissing, oral sex, touching your eyes. Do not allow others to touch your cold sore. Always wash your hands before and after touching cold sores. Avoid touching your eyes - HSV infection of the eye can lead to ulcers on the window of the eye (cornea). Avoid breaking the blisters, picking the scabs and sharing your eating and drinking utensils. This cream is normally well tolerated. However, some people may get the following: A mild burning or stinging directly after application, but this will quickly go away. Occasionally, redness, itching or a mild drying or flaking of the skin may occur. This does not prevent the cream from working. If in doubt, or if these side effects become troublesome, stop the treatment and consult your pharmacist or doctor. Warnings: Keep out of reach of children. For external use only. Do not use after the expiry date on the pack. Store at room temperature (below 25ºC). Do not refrigerate.

recieved this very fast , first time ive bought it and hoping it will help.Price very reasonable compared to buying it in the shops.......UPDATE I did have an allergic reaction to this, I got a wheals rash on my thighs and side , and a trip to the doctor it was ....sadly I couldnt use this product again .
Its just too good! heals within 3 days of use! highly recommended for those who suffer sores around the mouth!
I have ordered this before and it is always arrives really promptly. I am using it for my horses sarcoids so can't comment on how it's treating cold sores! It's doing well with the sarcoids though just wish it was sold in bigger volumes!
