If you like Dad-rock (and I'm partial to some of it) and you like Karaoke then you should consider adding this to your collection of Karaoke discs. If you look at the track listing in the Item Description, you'll see that there is a high level of "guilty pleasure" tracks in this two-disc set but that can only be a good thing.
The backing tracks are excellent renditions with quality vocal harmonies in the appropriate places. No accompanying videos unfortunately but that means the on-screen lyrics text is massive so even the most short-sighted performer should manage fine.
The on-screen information telling you what is coming up in the song is very useful. For instance, in Black Betty, the text warns you of a "Really Long Instrumental" and prompts you back in. This is a good thing.
The only downside for me (and this might be my DVD player rather than the disc) is that to get to a song you need to keep hitting "Next Chapter" on your remote rather than there being a menu screen allowing you to navigate straight to the desired song. Other DVDs have this feature. It's a small niggle though.
Overall, a fun pair of discs, highly-focussed song selections with useful on-screen information.

Now, I'm looking for a disc of indie/stoner rock including Queens of the Stoneage, Kings of Leon, Radiohead etc.

Not one for karaoke in pubs, but have dabbled in my time and thought this would be fun..... found it quite difficult to sing along without the 'proper' music..but its a good laugh..especially with a few drinks!

Sometimes, I was in the mood for some high voltage karaoke, but the volumes I had only contained two or three tracks that fitted the bill. This is perfect for those moments. Lots of familiar tracks, some of which - like Smoke On The Water - I know but would never have expected to find on karaoke, plus there are a few news ones to learn. Great purchase.
