Book Description

25 Sep 2013 Out of the rubble
"Sunken in emptiness and despair, the world continues to decay. The eyes of the infected dead glared around every corner with nowhere to escape. Zombies outnumber humans. Humans are hid away in FEMA camps or have joined gangs of cannibals hoping to survive the ongoing war and the Callechio family and friends are locked away hoping to live just another day. With mega- corporations such as Cyclone Corp binding together to form a new group the Community of the Phoenix, they continue their genocide of the human population and bond with the Army of God to push the apocalyptic theme onto the surviving populace. The government hangs on by a thread but the brave men and woman who work in its ranks are not about to let the remaining society fall. No-one is more affected by the recent losses then Emma. Believing her father is dead, she plots her revenge but is he really gone? After multiple recent deaths, the Callechio's continue their struggle for survival by all the methods of science, technology, and creativity they have but in a world so destroyed, is it even worth it to live another day."

3.0 out of 5 stars Not a fair review...but 2 Dec 2013
OK first off I have to see I haven't read the first book, which is very problematic from the get go.

The good points, it is a fun book with lots of action, zombies and robots, it's like a horror film meets Manga but western and full of underlying political angst.

Bad points due hopefully to not reading first novel, can't feel too much sympathy for the characters, partly due to the fact there are far too many, you feel overwhelmed trying to take it all in plus all the factions, survivors, military, NSA, community of the phoenix, a God one.
The robots, not really sure how they are controlled as such, whether it's like the loaders from 'ALIENS' or it's like virtual reality but with that I am sure it tells all in number one.

The only other thing which you'd expect there is a lot of mistakes and in some cases you're not really sure if you have read the sentence right.

But please start from book 1 then read this, hopefully when I do i shall re-read this.

By The G. Man - Published on Amazon.com
The sequel book was really good....an excellent follow-up to the first. I haven't been as spooked out since the time I first saw Night of the Living Dead! It looks like Joe and Marisha have a future in writing! I wait with baited breath to see what they come up with next!

5.0 out of 5 stars zombies vs robots 2 2 Oct 2013

Well what can I say about Zombies vs Robots 2? Awesome! the Cautilli's do it again, and with more adventures! This book is non stop action from beginning to end filled with images that seem deep in the human subconsciousness to provoke fear. At its core the book is still a story of family values and beliefs as Callechio"s continue their battle for survival but as one battle rages after the next its not difficult to see this as a war novel as well. This book has so much going for it and even much better than the first. I cant put this book down. The addition of Stephanie Emac as an undercover agent for the NSA is a triumph for the authors in some ways its hard to believe she was autistic as a child as she is deeply flawed and sophisticated. And then there's Tim and Mitchell who I wish were real as I would love to sit and have a beer with both of these guys. Although Martin is still a real dumb s.o.b ( sorry I know its a family book but still...) he really is, the authors delve us into a world transposed from a raging inferno of blood , death, and despair yet this book somehow finds a way to the end with a sense of hope. I didn't think anyone could top the first Zombies vs Robots, but these two, Joe and Marisha, obviously out did themselves this time! GET THIS BOOK !

5.0 out of 5 stars An Edge Of Your Seat Read, Part II! Bravo! 27 Sep 2013
By J.M.V. - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition
I purchased the prequel a few months ago, and was pleasantly delighted by what I read. In fact, it literately blew me away. I was equally thrilled and impressed to learn of the sequel's recent release. I immediately ordered the book, and recently completed reading it. Once again, another home run of an edge of your seat thriller involving the survival of mankind, amongst the perils of the zombie plague and the last line of defense, robots! A unique plot, on a hot topic in horror. A MUST READ!

My boys loved the first one and we just read #2 for Thanksgiving. They are bloggers and they thought it was cool that it is written by a father-daughter team! Enjoy : )
