Book Description

'Professor,' said Elizabeth, in the tone she normally reserved for over-familiar suitors and clumsy seamstresses. 'I confess to being quite at my wits' end. Surely no invention, however grand, can be worth your life? What on earth could be of such importance?'
The professor regarded her with bemusement.
'Why, guns, Miss Harkness.' he said, gravely. ' A veritable plethora of guns.'

The Titanic, pride of the White Star Line, largest ship on the ocean, is about to make its maiden voyage...but below decks, a terrible plague threatens everyone aboard. Can jiu-jitsu practising suffragette Elizabeth Harkness, Spanish-American war veteran James Tavistock and William Moss, the strongest man on the sea, save the passengers from a watery grave?

'Makes fictional retellings of the Titanic's tragic demise interesting again...a joy to read.' - SFX magazine.

More About the Author

Joel Snape is a British journalist. Before writing Zombie Titanic, he worked for more than ten years on magazines ranging from Edge and Official PlayStation to J-17 and Total Film. Before that, he did a degree in history and politics, briefly worked in a chocolate factory and spent more time practising martial arts than is probably good for anybody. The chocolate factory was less fun than you might expect.

His first published books were the Dylan Douglas series, which his dad and the Daily Telegraph both liked, and he currently works for Men's Fitness magazine. He lives in London, where he likes the museums.

5.0 out of 5 stars Ripping Yarns (and flesh) 10 April 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Took a chance on Zombie Titanic after a recommendation. Snappy dialogue, pop culture references and a nice tight focused plot. In this respect it contains things that every other piece of Titanic fiction manages to miss (with the possible exception of A Night to Remember). As genre fiction it's true to form, characters are broad but interesting and there's a joyful pace to the whole thing. For the price it is a bargain, a perfect antidote to a lot of the po-faced dramatic guff that's doing the rounds at the moment.

I loved it, raced through it and I'm recommending it to anyone.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great fun 28 Jun. 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
This was my first time reading a Zombie genre and I wasn't sure that I'd like it. I loved it. I laughed all the way through and grew very attached to the main protagonists. Great fun.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great read and great price 11 May 2012

A really great light-hearted adventure set aboard the Titanic's maiden voyage. The story moves along at a speedy pace and many of chapters are told from the point of view of different character. For the price (less than £2!) you really can't go wrong!

4.0 out of 5 stars Funny 27 April 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
A quick read but a really funny, well written, original book. The main characters speaking in Victorian English while adjusting petticoats and shooting pieces off of zombies made me laugh tea through my nose at least twice.
