Product Description

When an industrial accident rocks a local food production plant, many of the workers are killed by a cloud of toxic gas. But the newly dead refuse to remain in their graves, and their zombie corpses soon return to prey on the living flesh of the nearby villagers. Mike London (Franco Giraldi) and his commando squad are sent to investigate, but the problem is far worse than anyone had imagined.

5.0 out of 5 stars Hilarious, preposterous and ever so much fun 2 April 2010
This is one of my all time favourite Italian Zombie films. The whole thing is just so cheesy and unintentionally comical. In what is clearly a Dawn of the Dead and Cannibal Holocaust rip off. A group of SWAT team members and a female reporter head into the New Guinea jungle to investigate an outbreak of a virus. What follows is insanely violent and ridiculously gory. Zombies, cannibalism, gratuitous nudity and exceedingly over the top acting. All add up to make this such a fun film to watch. Oh and this film even has an eye ball scene that outshines the one in Lucio Fulci's Zombi 2. Director Bruno Mattei clearly doesn't mind "borrowing" other people's work. The soundtrack is Goblin's score from Dawn of the Dead. Endless Stock footage of animals is used. Even documentary footage of a real New Guinea tribe preparing a burial ceremony is thrown in for good measure. Hilarious, preposterous and ever so much fun. A must see for any Zombie fan.

5.0 out of 5 stars amazing!! 25 Feb 2006
By fluff
Well, what can I say? This is my second favourite zombie movie ever (I've seen a hell of a lot, and own over 370). Excellent filming, direction and gorey effects. Next to the original Dawn of the Dead, this has GOT to be in your collection if you're a horror fan!!

This is the worst film i have ever seen. Stock footage of rotting corpses monkeys etc..It's not funny like a lot of bad films it just makes you feel bored and a bit nauseous.

1.0 out of 5 stars get "Hell of the Living Dead" instead 30 Mar 2014

This movie is just a censored version of "Hell of the Living Dead" minus about 11 minutes. If you can get "Hell", don't get this.
