I'm reviewing this lighter after owning it for well over 11 months now.
in terms of the mechanics of it, it's up to usual zippo standard. i haven't had one single problem with the mechanism. everything still works perfectly. this is after dropping it several times on pretty much every surface available on this planet. i often take it camping with me where it's been kicked along the ground and come out fine.
as for the finish, given what it's been through. not bad. there's a few scratches here and there especially around the opening. overall though pretty good. i think the matte finish is a good choice. it doesn't scratch as easily as a polished metal zippo would.

This is my third Zippo, my other two was purchased in person from authorised dealers. It's definitive a Zippo with all the correct markings and workings of a Zippo but its not as good in quality as the others I have. There's no paint on lid hinge, no paint on the bottom of the lighter where the markings stamps are so you can see the bass, also I've not removed them all out but it seems that there's less felt wadded in the place where the lighter fluid goes (normally five) and the lid seems to have more give when shut than the others. Having said all this, it is the cheapest one I have, it is a zippo and it works great as a lighter and its will be fine to take out on nights out.

I really like this lighter, it's stylish and the 'click' you get when opening and closing the lighter will never get old.
A few things I picked up on thought:
- The paint comes off the lighter very quickly, especially around the opening (This was kind of disappointing, but can be fixed with some black enamel paint)
- The lighter needs re-filling every 1-2 days (depending on use)

Chuffed to bits
