Ashok (Joy Mukherjee) is a wannabe author who gets sidetracked into becoming the manager of a tea plantation. The job is one thing, but he is in for a real surprise when he meets the plantation owner's daughter Asha (Asha Parekh), a young woman who is not only beautiful, but also spoiled, strong-willed and antagonistic. Relations between Asha and Ashok get off to a bad start, but their fighting might just be a way of hiding deeper emotions, and with Asha's pet elephant Manju on hand to help out, they're sure to have a lot of fun either way.

2 of 2 people found the following review helpful By Dr. Sukhwinder S. Nagi on 7 Aug. 2008
Format: DVD
Another movie from the 60's with Joy Mukerjee and Asha Parekh. Joy pretends to be manager of the tea estate and falls in love with asha who is spoilt by her father and Joy tries to change her to a nice indian lady.
The movie has a reasonable story but the strength of the movie is beautiful hill scenery and fantastic Music by Late S.D Burman.
Watch and ENJOY.
