Having auditioned various dock/speaker units,the sound quality of the Zeppelin was clearly superior with music ranging from big bands to pop to classical,and both male/female vocals.
It is unrealistic to expect marked stereo separation from an all in one unit,and the Scandyna,with it's separate speakers,would be superior,but just compare it's specification with that of the Zeppelin,and draw a conclusion as to which one will portray realistically the power,and dynamics,of a piece of music.
Then we have to take into account B & W's expertise in designing both speaker drivers,and crossover networks.
Yes,the Zeppelin is expensive,but it's sound quality will beguile.
It did with me...I bought one.
