Product Description

Erotic thriller starring Stephen Baldwin and Kirsty Swanson. Alan (Cameron Daddo) and Wendy Barnet (Brandy Ledford) are a normal couple, who find their seemingly perfect marriage has lost its spark. Wanting to reclaim their passion and make their sexual fantasies come true, they place an advert in a swinger's magazine which leads them to the Zebra Lounge and experience swingers Louise (Swanson) and Jack Bauer (Baldwin). Initially resisting but eventually yielding to the charms of Jack and Louise, Wendy and Alan agree to an erotic liason, which begins their descent into a world of reckless abandon and sexual pleasure. As Jack and Louise become more obsessed, Wendy and Alan realise they are involved in a far deadlier game than they had imagined.

2.0 out of 5 stars Promising plot that never gets off the ground. 13 May 2007
By Amazon Customer TOP 1000 REVIEWER
Wendy Barnet (Brandy Ledford) and husband Alan (Cameron Daddo) decide to spice up their flagging marriage and advertise for a couple interested in partner swapping.

They have a joint trial date at the Zebra Lounge with the persuasive Jack Bauer (Stephen Baldwin) and his wife Louise (Kristy Swanson). The Barnet's soon want to cease the arrangement but too late discover the Bauers have become obsessed with them and start relentlessly pursuing the Barnet's.

A promising plot that has all the makings of a fine erotic thriller, but the drama fails to ignite amidst a lack of chemistry between the four actors and routine direction.

Zebra Lounge was an interesting tale of what can go wrong when things go stale in a marariage the only thing that slightly spoilt the film was the ending

3.0 out of 5 stars SWF meets Fatal Attraction 30 Jan 2002
By Skip Senneka - Published on
Zebra Lounge (Canadian, directed by Karo Skogland) starts out like soft core porn and ends like a Hitchcock thriller. Alan (Cameron Daddo) and Wendy Barnet (Brandy Ledford) are trying to revitalize their marriage. They flirt with the idea of swinging (gee, there's a great way to get your marriage back on track!) and meet with Jack (Stephen Baldwin) and Louise (Kristy Swanson) at the Zebra Lounge. Initially uncertain, the Barnets end up spending a glitter-night with Jack and Louise who seem to have a lot more money and access to hot, grown-up toys than any of us should have. The Barnets find this little foray does get them back into each other, and no more togetherness with others is needed--too bad they forgot to tell Jack and Louise . . .
From here the plot line goes down the path of films like Fatal Attraction, SWF, and (going way back) The Hitcher. This is the "I want to be your friend and I'm going to be your friend even if I have to kill you to do it" story line. Jack and Louise intrude in the Barnet's life in numerous and scary ways. Some is believable, other parts stretch.
The acting is quite good, production values excellent. As long as you don't think about the details too much, this is a pretty good flick.

3.0 out of 5 stars Cheap Thrills.... 13 Jan 2003
By I. Allison - Published on
Alan (Cameron Daddo) and Wendy Barnet (Brandy Ledford) are your normal, average couple who have succumbed to sexual boredom. One day, while visiting a sex shop, Alan buys a swingers' magazine. Of course, there is some initial hesitation, but eventually curiosity gets the best of them and they place an ad. They receive a response from a couple Jack (Stephen Baldwin) and Louise (Kristy Swanson) Bauer--who seem irresistibly charming and very good-looking. After a call from Alan, they decide to meet at a local bar, aptly titled the "Zebra Lounge". A few drinks, and Wendy is feeling a little hesistant. I mean is this really what she wants? Is this going to save their marriage? The plot is superficially thin and the acting is so-so. But you can see where this is heading, and that is part of the fun. So needless to say, the Barnet couple give in to temptation--and have a wild time with the Bauers. After satisfying their curiosity, the Barnets are ready to throw in the towel and call it quits. But the Bauers are not so ready to be tossed to the side!! They had plans on a long-term meaningful relationship! And that is where the PROBLEMS start! This movie is okay, especially if you want a cheap thrill, have nothing else to do, or feel like watching some soft-porn with plenty of simulated acts. Just be sure to put the kids to bed first.

4.0 out of 5 stars Take a dip ... the water is great 28 Jan 2002
By A Customer - Published on
For any couple who has ever considered the potential disaster in "swinging", this is must viewing. The movie features--among Baldwin, two extremely sexy women (unfortunately, I can't recall their names), who genuinely seem to enjoy the experience. Unfortunately, it goes bad fast, and very nearly costs one family everything.
Like most guys who rent these types of movies I wanted to see women getting together. The movie does this, and well. The build up was excellent, and the payoff reasonable for an R-rated film.
True, I would have liked it to be unrated, and extended, but that's just me.
I thoroughly enjoyed the tension between the couples, I enjoyed Baldwin's psychosis (I happen to believe he's not acting). In short, it was decent, and well worth a look.

4.0 out of 5 stars KRISTY RULES 9 Nov 2005
By Jason Perdue - Published on
Okay, you know this wasn't an award winning movie. I wont bore you with that and the whole can see that stuff here from the others. But i will mention that Kristy Swanson is very hot and spicy in this movie. Kristy is wicked in this movie. Kristy uses some 'provocative' language in this movie. Kristy is engaged in sensual kissing with another female in this movie.

Now you have all you need to know to rent or buy this movie.
