Having put up with an old LG case that was designed for a prebuilt system, for my custom built system, and not having front USB, audio, not being able to fit the side access panel because of the H50 CPU cooler I have, and having to put up with a great gaping hole in the front where the floppy drive used to sit, I decided to replace it with a new case, and after having some initial trouble getting a hold of a Z9 Plus, which wasn't due to be shipped in until mid-June, I decided on this case, and I have to say, it looks absolutely fantastic, extremely smart, yet having a slightly aggressive styling that compliments rather than detracts from the overall look, and a high quality all black exterior and interior finish that looks far better than the dirty grey that was on the inside of the old case that I had.
The fans are very very quiet, and I honestly cannot convey just how quiet they really are, despite the fact that one of them runs directly off the PSU, you wouldn't even know it was running unless you looked round the back and saw it spinning, and this is coming from a case that sounded like a jet aircraft setting off. This case even keeps the CPU a good 4 or 5 degrees cooler, and that's considering that the old case had an open side and a hole in the front.

It has tons of space inside even for some of the largest graphics cards, up to 290mm I believe, maybe 300mm at a push if the card has the power connecters on the top edge of the card, which is ample room.

So what's in the box?

-The case (duh)
-Enough screws for 2 builds
-An ATX 12V CPU Extension cable that is sleeved (good value)
-A Manual which I didn't read

So the case feels sturdy, has a blue LED in the front and a fan in the back. Front being 3 pin back being Molex. Plenty of standoffs. Good room for a great cable management job, which is essential to any case regardless of price (I'm looking at you CiT). Bottom mounted PSU takes air in from the grills below, so try not to stick the case on carpet as it will just starve the PSU of air. Dust filters included on the bottom and good front, easy to snap off and wash.

More than ample space for my brothers gaming build, very happy with the case and I recommended it to a friend who also purchased it.

The Zalman Z9 midi tower case is strong, vibration free, has lots of cooling and is easy to assemble: No sharp edges. Tidy cabling. Hard drives clip in so easily removed. You can open both sides which really helps with assembly

So what's missing?
There is one too few motherboard support screws provided, there are enough but one more would keep the board really solid - other reviewers have mantioned this too
The USB ports are USB2 not USB3
It's quite big, almost unnecessarily so, there is lots of spare space even with teh full capacty of five HDDs (or is it six), 4 optical drves, a 3.5" panel and an SSD or two - but I guess it helps the airflow
The supplied fans could be quieter - easy to buy new ones though.
While I didn't want the gowing red temperature display on the next model up (Z9 plus) it did have a fan speed conrol which would have been nice.
The side vent takes 2x120mmm fans, a quieter more efficient solition would have been to provide mounting holes for a 180mm fan as well.
You have to snap off metal front panels to get optical drives fitted. Noy a serious prolem but a shame when everything else clips or screws together.

Ticks all the boxes. 7 fan mounting points, including 2 120mm in the top and one at the bottom with a filter. Quick release, rubber HDD mounts, watercooling inlets etc. A very good case with great features for the money. Good cable routing. Looks quite smart and is fairly solid as well. I've had it for a year now and the on/off button did stop working but I expect that's just bad luck. Recommended.

Upgrading so thought, new case to go with new everything else. The reviews looked mostly good so took a chance. It's brilliant. Most of the outer panels are mesh so amazing airflow and can take 7 fans. It comes with two, one front blue LED and one rear with no LED and they're both quiet. There's a bag of screws and bits to fit HDDs, MB, ODDs etc and an extension cable if your PSU has short cables. Both sides and the top are removable so access is extremely good and the main chassis remains rigid. As you can tell I'm really pleased with the case, it's fantastic value for money and better than some cases I looked at that cost much more. One thing, remember to connect the front panel switch, It's disconnected when the case is delivered and, although quite obvious, I missed it and had a five minute panic when it wouldn't switch on.

Easy assembly. Note that the front panel comes away for you to attach power switch yourself. fairly good quality, good for this price range.
