Great replacement for gpu fan 27 Feb 2011

This replaced the fan on my palit gtx 460. It was a little tricky to fit, but nothing an average person couldn't manage. The fan is a hell lot quiter than the old one, even when running on full. It might cause a problem if you are looking to sli/crossfire as it takes up a lot of space, but otherwise a great product

Extremely Impressed! 40 Degrees on load, 85 before, 45 decrease!! & on Silent mode! - HD 4870 22 Jun 2010

I am extremely impressed by this product, the reduction in temperature is phenominal.
I previously used the stock cooler on my HD 4870 and had it running on 100% fan speed which gave me temps of 60 degrees Idle, 85 on load. (Pretty dusty).
After installing the Zalman VF2000 my temps dropped to 32 degrees Idle, 40 on load and running on silent mode! (lowest setting).

Thats a 28 degree drop on Idle & a 45 degree drop on Load!
These numbers practically speak for themselves, and actually is amazing compared to a review i've read which stated it had a 20 degree drop [which is also pretty impressive(and also better than the VF1000)].

It comes with all the necessary parts, thermal grease and instructions, installation is toolless. (though you will need a screwdriver with a sharp & deep head to remove the screws on the stock cooler and something to spread the thermal grease on the chip.)

Oh yes, DEFINATELY buy the ZM-RHS90 if your using a ATI HD 4870/90. It is used to keep VRM temps DOWN. (Very important!!!)
**All temps were recorded on Asus smart doctor and GPU-Z.
