I bought this microphone to replace an old broken one while I gather up the required funds for a proper headset. A ton of positives reviews on Amazon US made this my choice, along with the VASTLY better Logitech standing microphone not working with 64bit Windows 7.
To cut a long story short, "High Sensitivity" is an out right lie. I have quite a deep voice, and unless you have this microphone inches from your mouth the quality will be terrible. Secondly omni direction? Please, having the microphone not within the cone of your face there will be a drastic drop in quality.
Topping off the terrible quality would be a very bad design on the clip itself, which requires a thicker wire than most headphones have due to it being a slot, and NOT a clip. I had to put some tape around my headphone wire in order for this to fix.
Do not waste your time unless you need an emergency microphone on the cheap.

I bought two of these mics recently, one for a friend and one for myself.
I have to say these microphones are better quality than any microphone that comes attached to a "gaming" headset.
The sound is clear, the range is fine and thanks to the clips along the wire, it doesn't intrude on your workspace.
If I had to give a criticism of the microphone, it's that it doesn't have enough small clips along the wire, but that's only because my desk space is so large there's a lot of cable up there.
Overall the quality of the microphone can't be doubted, you will *not* find a better microphone for the price.
Stop buying "gaming" headsets and pick up one of these and use some nice headphones or earphones. (I personally use the Shure SRH840s with this).

Well I wasn't going to bother reviewing but then I noticed that it's more criticism than praise?!

What it isn't: a mic you would want to use to record high quality sound.
What it is: a very handy and very durable little clip on mic for gaming and skype etc.
I've owned this little thing since august, so that's 6 months and dropped it on the floor a fair few times so it's not 'fragile'. On the downside the cable is 3 meters long and the clip isn't sprung (there's just a slot gap) so you have to wedge it onto your collar, and it's too loose for the smaller diameter headphone cables. But it does all I require of it, a handy, cheap, easy to use mic for gaming and skype which can be used with or without headphones. Much better than getting an all in one headset (sound quality is superior and it's more convenient).
