This is quite a good heatsink for the price.

For a budget heatsink it keeps my i7 processor at 35 degrees or less at idle and under load it hasn't exceeded 60 degrees yet. It is also very quiet.

The installation for the 2011 socket is simple.

It also has good RAM clearance if you are using high profile RAM. I have an ASUS Rampage IV Extreme and it clears the 4 DIMM slots on the fan side, but only clears 3 slots on the metal heatsink side.

All in all good budget heatsink.

Efficient and easy to fit CPU cooler. It reduced the operating temperature of my CPU by an average 5 degrees C compared to the stock Intel Cooler supplied

It looks good, not huge like e.g. the Scythe Mugen, and installation is rather easy. If you follow the instructions it shouldn't be a problem: install brackets, backplate, some sticker to the backplate (for vibration maybe?), and then the usual paste on the cpu and HSF on top. First time it might take some time (HSF is suitable for many sockets, so there are some possibilities to mount wrongly if you don't follow the.... instructions) but it works out rather well. The HSF is just not too big to reach the screws and tighten them with the supplied tool. No interference with higher RAM-bars either, unless they would be "wide".

I have done no detailed analysis or test on the temps, but they are fine: a Core i5 3750K stays under light load around 35°C, which is fine.

I bought this to be installed in to a Asus P9X79 motherboard where I needed to populate all 8 DIMM slots. It fits ok on the motherboard, allowing plenty of space for the DIMMS, regardless of their heatsink size. The fan itself is pretty quiet while the CPU is idle. I notice a very small increase in noise as it spins up when the CPU is under load, however this has been minimal so far. The unit itself is pretty tall and only just fits in my Novatech Couger case - the side of the case just touches the top of the copper heat pipes on the heatsink, however this does not affect the operation of the unit.

In summary it is a great product, especially for the low price.

Very good cooler.
Arrived on time, packed propely.
All contents present.

Doesn't look like much after you pull the fan off for installation. Almost a not all there feeling.
Works like a charm though. Decent hardware, size should fit in most mid tower cases. Has openings in the bottom
to cool items on the motherboard. I noticed my Northbridge temps dropped several degrees. No clearence issues with other items on the board.

Installed on a Intel i5 3570K CPU. Temps went from 35C idle, down to 24C. Loaded 45C down to 35C. Before are with the EVO cooler.
In a tight case, Antec GX500. About 3/8" clearence to the side door. Artic Silver paste.

System is a lot faster now that it is cooler.
