About the Author
Zahrah the Windseeker is Nnedi Okorafor-Mbachus first novel. Her second novel, Ejii the Shadow Speaker, will be published in the near future by Hyperion Books for Children. Nnedis short stories have been published in anthologies and magazines, including Dark Matter II, Strange Horizons, the Margin Anthology of Magical Realism and Writers of the Future, Volume XVIII. Nnedi lives with her daughter, Anyaugo, and family in Illinois.
