3.0 out of 5 stars Decent budget hardware let down by poor firmware 30 April 2012

The ZT-280 upgrade/new version is actually the ZT-282. This is worth noting because the ROMs used aren't compatible and currently there is no way to "downgrade" the ZT-282 to Gingerbread.

Why would you want to downgrade the OS version? Because under Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich, there are on-going problems with Flash Player which will prevent you from watching eg BBC iPlayer. It remains to be seen whether this is sorted out.

Compared to other cheap Android tablets the screen isn't bad. The viewing angles aren't great, but definitely not the worst. The screen itself is bright and clear when viewed full on.

The, apparently, 3000 mAh battery will give you approximately 3-4 hours browsing the web over wifi and much less uptime if playing games. This is also not that great and quite a disappointment. Be sure to check which games will run on it before buying anything. You do get 15 minutes to ask for a refund from the market so test anything you buy immediately.

Those are the downsides out of the way. This is rather an example of getting what you pay for and for the money you're unlikely to find a better tablet with a capacitative screen. If you primarily want it for email and browsing the web, but not for online streaming video, then it'll work just fine. If they can sort out the problems with Flash Player then I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. We'll have to wait and see.

The version of the tablet I bought here came with a case with built-in keyboard. The keyboard connects to the tablet using the USB port and it works surprisingly well. Unfortunately the tablet is rather swallowed up by the case I got so I quickly abandoned it as too unwieldy.

Overall, 3.5 out of 5.

1.0 out of 5 stars Worked ok for just a day... 14 Jun 2012
I bought this device and worked only for one day!

This tablet has many known issues... You can visit androidtablets.net and you will definetely decide not to buy this... A complete waste of money.

Yhe company doesnt respond to emails and the quaranty is not taken seriously...

When I finally decided that no one will ever fix it, I opened it. Unbelievable how poorly structured and cheap components! A lot of ducktapes and loose ends...

If you want a tablet go and buy a tablet... Dont waste money like I did on something so cheaply desighned and manufactured.

I have wasted 140 euros and now I just have it on my desk to remind me never to buy cheap chinese products...

Thanks
Christos

(sorry for myy bad English)

Can't remember how long ago I bought this, but it's still going. Had to reboot a couple of times recently when it has froze but can't fault it for what it is. Great for browsing, games and reading (sync to kindle) but have a far more pleasant and easier on the eye read than a kindle. Not sure if can update to ICS.

Bought this as Christmas present for my husband. Complete rubbish! Worked for a couple of weeks and corrupted photos on the SD card and now won't boot up. Have contacted Nula Store and they have failed to respond.
My advice is do not buy this product or deal with this company - do not waste your time and money!!

5.0 out of 5 stars great tablet 18 Dec 2012

I purcashed four of these for christmas presents. I have done a lot of research, reading reviews, checking specs, comparing power/size/processor etc. I had never bought a tablet before so i spent a long time (6 months) finding the right tablet and the right seller. Now that I have recieved them i am over the moon.

Screen size : lets face it folks, bigger is better and the extra couple of inches this tablet provides is enough to make it a winner.

Screen response: flawless, the pinch/zoom is smooth and the swipe/touch/typing works perfectly.even for a fat fingered old guy like me.

video: so far it plays everything i have put on it without a problem, the image is razor sharp be it for a book,a film or a game.

Connectivity: it easliy connects to my wifi network and no dropped connections yet.

ports: with hdmi connector, two mini usb ports and an mirco sd card slot it offers lots of ways to connect external devices like a keyboard, mobile dongle for internet on the go,or a tv screen for 50 inches of angry bird fun lol.

I can't recommend this highly enough. its a cracking tablet for far less than the cost of a fruity, overpriced, fanboy led ipood.

Seller: absolutly brillant. I had a delivery problem caused by my own stupidity. contacted the seller NULA STORE and they sorted it out and had the tablets with me in 2 days. impressive considering the xmass rush and the fact that it had to go from ireland to england. I've seen letters take 3 days to travel across my own home town.
the benifits of having an english seller are the ease of contact,no lanugage barrier, fast postage and best of all no customs charges as its within the EU. something which many buyers forget.

If your searching for a 10" tablet that costs less than many 7" ones but has great specs then look no futher. my only let down is that amazon won't let me give the tablet or the seller more than 5 stars. they need more stars.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good inexpensive tablet 5 Sep 2012

A couple of months on and for the most part this is a good tablet for the price. Screen is OK though could be a little sharper. Battery is so-so. Have had a couple of occasions when the tablet forced me to factory reset - I think this may have been due to an app that was not compatible. Zenithink returned my email and suggested this may have been the problem. Since then the tablet has 'behaved itself' but I will keep an eye on future issues.
