Magical Athetes: A Little Luck Yields Lots of Fun!

I picked up Magical Athletes at the recommendation of a close friend. It's a cute and quirky little game that is a good filler between more complicated games that take much longer to play. The gameplay is fairly simple - you bid on a team of characters that you enter into a series of races. Depending on how your character interacts with the others competing in that round determines how well you fare. Luck and the roll of the dice are heavy influencers here, but the game is entertaining nonetheless. My one pet peeve is that the player tokens are constantly slipping out of the little plastic holders. It's only a minor design flaw and slightly annoying at best.
