Out of all the books on global warming i have read, or tried to read, this one is the most straight forward, and dare I say it, entertaining. The A-Z format works well, with every aspect of the subject covered, and, referenced, so that the reader can look up the source of the information if they so desire. And the sources are extensive, NASA, NOAH, NSIDC, IPCC, Stern Review and WWF to name a few. Lovely illustrations and photo's help clarify the complex subject matter.

Anyone wanting an in-depth, concise and quick knowledge on the subject should start here..

This book provides a lovely guide on all aspects of global warming, explained in unique A-Z format, with each letter of the alphabet dealing with a certain aspect of climate change, from the Amazon, Biofuels, Carbon Dioxide, through to the Weather, Extinction, and what You can do to help...each chapter relevant to the isues of global warming and climate change. All chapters are nicely illustrated with the authors own drawings and accompanied by NASA photo's and graphs throughout.... An essential read on the topic.

"A very interesting book, dealing with all aspects of climate change and global warming, and especially good for someone who knew very little about the subject, like myself ! The book is basically a factual account on the topic of global warming, with each chapter taking you through an alphabetic journey through the subject matter. Well written and illustrated throughout. A very handy and concise guide.... if not a little un-nerving ! "
