This Perfume was originally given to me as a gift, and to be frank i was originally unimpressed by both the bottle and the box- it seemed rather dull overall and certainly would not have stood out to me on any shelf. In fact it looked like something an older woman may choose (no offence meant :) as a result i was bias over the sent and didnt give it a chance, other then saying 'why thankyou, its lovely' to my 'gifter'.
After letting it sit on my self for a very long time, my usual perfume finished and as i was going out i decided to use this one and go.
i was instantly hit/ surprised by the lovely sent. Due to my lack of enthusiasm before and the time that had gone by since it was a lovely surprise.
Having let it rest on my skin for a while, not only did i find it lovely, but Ive yet to wear/ find another perfume which gives me as many compliments from my male friends! Ive even been complimented by strangers lol
anyway its clear that i and the male population seem quite keen :)
the sent itself is overall floral with some amber in it, and is both light and musky making it good for most occasions. Its feminine, rich, suductive yet not overtly 'in your face' as too many perfumes can be. It reminds me of something that a 'classic woman' would wear- perhaps an old movie star or a lady from the 1940s might enjoy. Or even someone who simply wishes for an effeminate sent thats not just airy.
obviously try to find somewhere that you can smell it for real yourself, but give it a chance even if your not originally impressed. I defiantly recommended it, and so do boyfriends past ;)
