At last, a book that puts some substance onto the bones of the Yummy Mummy idea - that you can be both maternal and marvellous, and enjoy your baby and your bloke without losing sight of yourself. I loved Anna's other books - Three Black Skirts, and Handbags - she writes brilliantly and her illustrations are a joy. What I particularly liked about the Yummy Mummy Manifesto is the way she brings a balance to new motherhood, sharing her own experience but with real thoughtfulness and a clued up idea of the world in which we parent. This is a great book. More, please!
