I have added some photos of the product I received which is slightly different to the product picture but should not affect your use of it. I think that the screw is a little too short for my liking as only 5 mm of it will go into the thread of my 7 x 50 Bresser binoculars (770 g) which could fit another 5 mm which would be more secure. The problem is that actually there doesn't seem to be anything much better on the market. My advice is to keep an eye on the tightness because there may be movement both at the bottom where it attaches to your tripod shoe and where it connects to the binocular thread if you are panning or moving the binoculars. Purchased recently to allow 10 x 50 binoculars to be fitted to a tripod to view the moon. Product is sturdy and fitted the bino's and tripod perfectly. It may look cheap but is of solid construction and does what it is supposed to do without frills. Well worth the money. Oh and it arrived in no time at all....

Does the job nicely.
I bought this to mount my binoculars on a tripod. It arrived quickly, is well made, minimalist and it does the job of holding my binoculars steady which is exactly what I wanted.
