This was a book on our holistic health course (ITEC) It explains the theory on stress, the clinical background to stress and how it affects our body, It give good detail on the chemical reactions caused by stress and some good exercises and fact finding sheets to establish stress levels and how to manage them. Altogether a good book whether you are doing a course or just for everyday reference, I have had some hospital appointments recently with up to 2 hours waiting to be called. I have started to bring this book with me to read in the waiting room and it has been a great help, it is the perfect book to take along to situations like this because as you are reading you are becoming aware of your stress levels and you can use the book and its techniques to help you deal with it there and then.
