Although I'm an Asimov fan, I was disappointed by this collection of letters selected and presented by his brother. As a writer of letters, Asimov was prolific but necessarily concise, and most of the examples in "Yours" are nothing more than straightforward two- or three-line replies to the mundane questions which any popular author is asked. The absence of the other side of the correspondence (in all but a very few cases), or even of the names of the correspondents, only adds to the laundry-list feel of the book. There are a some letters of interest (for example, those to Arthur C. Clarke), but they are too few and far between. Asimov's books were written to be read by the public - his letters evidently were not. If you really must have the complete Asimov library, buy this one last.
