I liked reading this book with my little brother who is two. I liked making the puppets mouth work to read the story. I am five.

I recently bought this book for my nearly 3 yr old son - He loves it - we read it over and over again! The monster - Sid, likes eating fingers & scaring children - my son sits on his hands as the book suggests so sid cant get his - the twist is - when children roar back at sid he cries & is scared - he likes fish fingers really - childrens occasionally! In our house Sid also likes dummies & biscuits which is messy! Great book & kids will love scaring Sid back!ENJOY!

great monster book for kids, they will love this book when you read to them you put your hand in the back of the book and pretend the monster is really talking to them, you can still turned the pages without removing your hand it,s so much fun i recommend this to everybody you,ll end up getting all the books from scary cid, have fun.if you get 3 you usually get delivery free.and will wait only a few days.enjoy.

A bit lame
The hand puppet mouth through the centre of the book is a nice idea, but given how active the puppet needs to be in the story you find yourself shoving the whole book around. Read more

My boys (aged 1 and 3) love this book. The 3 year old enjoys pretending to be scared at the start and both enjoy roaring back at Dudley to scare him!
