the book does exactly what it says on the cover........concise, really helpful/useful tips and wrote by authors who design these tests. contains many different variations of psychometric testing questions and key patterns and techniques to be aware of and ultimately improve your score. also section on personality tests.
Used the book when i recently went for a test and came 16th out of 600 applicants......this book can definitely add 10-15% to your score. a worthy investment to anyone serious about performing well in these tests.

Before buying this book I had completed some psychometric tests, and had not been very successful!
I purchased this book and used the example questions and advice given throughout. At the time I did not feel it had been very helpful, however I completed (what I felt were even harder) psychometric tests at a later date and passed with flying colours!
Since this book was my only learning material, it must have been doing something right!

Taking tests is nerve wracking and of course the more nervous you get the worse you do. This book, written by two psychologists who devise these things, shows you how you can improve your performance in some straightforward ways-including how to calm your nerves! Any book which can improve your chances of getting a job must be great value. Strongly recommended.

A Good Start.....
Helpful as a starter and getting you into the mindset of test-taking. The sections are a bit short so I would recommend buying supplementary books to help. Read more
