4.0 out of 5 stars A good idea for families with more than 1 child., 20 Mar 2005

I bought this on the strength of the idea, that each child within the family is equally special, just after the arrival of number three. The book is just a gentle tale of a bear family with three little bears and how they are all favourites despite being different - one girl, one with no patches and the littlest. The illustrations are lovely to look at though neither pictures nor story are quite as strong as this author-illustrators classic Guess how much I love you.

A really lovely book with beautiful illustrations - great to share and also show your child that like the three bears in the book they and their siblings are all you're favourites

5.0 out of 5 stars Simple and beautiful and a very important read, 30 Nov 2008
By K. Chase-Rahman "kam2peace" (London) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
All children want to feel loved and feel that they're special. From as young as 9 months children can start to suffer from insecurities from lack of attention or competition from siblings. If you have three kids you'll know how sometimes it can be difficult to give each of them the attention they need (or want). There's no easy answer to this problem, but this book is great not only because it tries to answer the problem in a very simple way, but also because it shows the parent the two big questions that are going through your child's head; (1) am I loved? (2)am I loved the same as my siblings even though I'm different from my siblings?

If you have three children you should think about getting this book. If your three children are two boys and a girl in the middle (which is the pattern in the book) then you MUST get this book.
