About the Author
Carolyn started her career at the top working as Head Chef for a restaurant but eventually switched to journalism where, in 1977, she was able to combine her love of food with her flair for words when she became Deputy Cookery Editor for Woman magazine. Over the years she has freelanced for numerous women's, parenting, education, food and lifestyle magazines as well as for PR companies specialising in food, nutrition and health. She has written over 40 books and has taught both cookery and journalism at further education level. She has written many books for Foulsham and sold over 92,000 books in 2006 alone.

I thought I needed this book, as I was experimenting with what my body is allergic to. Turns out I never did need this book - so I passed the book on to a friend who was recently diagnosed with Celiac.
Every day I see her, she has a smile on her face saying: "WOW! Last night I tried the pizza - superb. The night before I made this... then I made that... And I feel so good!!" So, I not only feel grateful that I helped her by giving her this book, but I am grateful that this type of book was available. She is now in better spirits because her body feels good and she has more ideas on what to eat - she also commented that the food is delicious! :) Compared to what her body posture and her facial expressions were every day to now... she looks like she could run a marathon. She is so much more comfortable!! So go on... give it a bash!

I bought this book for my sister who lives in Canada, she has not received it yet, I am sure she'll find it interesting, as she could not find one over there. Good price too.
