This book has a thing about your mum!
I am not too close to my mum but even if I were this book goes over the top.
It's really old fashioned. It assumes the brides parents are paying for everything and has lists of things to do like "organise guest list with your mum", "talk to caterers with your mum", "discuss flowers with your mum"!
It hasn't got options for wedding outside of a church, nothing for weddings abroad and no original ideas.
It also has no elements for the groom- it assumes the bride is organising everything (with her mum obviously!) apart from the honeymoon and cars.
If what you want is a guide to what weddings were like 50 years ago buy this book.
If not, buy something else like I did after selling this book!!!
