Jeff Galloway was an average teenage runner who kept learning and working harder, until he became an Olympian. He is the author of the best-selling running book in North America ( Galloway's Book on RunningA") and is a Runners World columnist, as well as an inspirational speaker for more than 200 running and fitness sessions each year. Although this journal looks really great for someone who can receive the paper product, it is definitely NOT appropriate to sell as a Kindle item! I live overseas, so shipping would cost more than the book. I tried to evaluate the book before buying it online for Kindle, yet only a couple of pages were available. Taking a leap of faith -- and believing that Amazon would not sell a journal that would not be usable -- I bought it. I wish I had spent the money on a plain notebook, because I can't even use the journal -- it's in PDF format. So, this review is for the Kindle product -- I imagine the book product would be great.

I was using a cheap spiral bound calendar to track my running but it really wasn't proving to be a useful way for me to compile data. This is laid out very nicely and has fields for all the important things you should track. I can only think of one improvement and that would be for it to be spiral bound. That's the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.
