is probably not for absolute beginners - exercises and routines are clearly effective and well explained. Maybe some of the exercises could have been explained better for beginners e.g. towards doing pull ups using bands or doing Australian pull ups. However all in all a good plan and I think will help hit fitness goals in our busy worlds! I would recommend buying it,,,

It's taken me a while to figure out that my goal is to be strong and not skinny, as so many women are pressured to be in our society. The other pressure we face is on time, especially when we need to balance work, children and keeping fit. This book will help me to achieve both of those goals through intensive, 30 minute workouts that focus on building strength and tone. I have been using kettlebells for several years now but it is only through following the workouts in this book that I've been able to make significant progression and now quite happily swing 20kgs. OK, maybe not happily, but I can do it! I find the routines in the book easy to follow and perfect for doing exercises at home when I get a spare half an hour. And for anyone who thinks that 30 minutes is not enough to build up a sweat, you are wrong! Try it and see for yourself.

This book has really motivated me to get back into exercise again, after many years. l like the way the book is written - no nonsense language and an explanation of any terms or phrases that are used in the health and fitness world, which might not be readily understood, by those of us not accustomed to this environment. There is a certain amount of basic information regarding an approach to better eating, without ever getting 'preachy' about it. Mr Grylls tells us that he'd like to release another book on food and nutrition. I look forward to it.

Great book if you are serious about getting fit and not just body beautiful! This will tone and build muscle. Clear instructions on each exercises and plenty if routines to keep you interested. Great pictures to offer a visual aid too. All in all a good excessive book.

has some great ideas for work outs and will defiantly be using and trying these out
I like the idea is short intense work outs as time can be a factor as to weather I d o a workout so this book will come in very handy

Excellent book from Bear, very informative and illustrative.
I have been reading some reviews about the kindle version, sorry to hear the problems, as the paperback version is great.

Also people not having Kettlebells or other equipment.....improvise, adapt and overcome.
