Bought this for my science mad little boy who is 4. He also has See Inside Your Body. These are great books aimed at the 4 to 8 year old age group and even thought he insn't reading yet (I read it to him), he loves to open all the flaps and look under them. The book is about how your brain works and is explained in a very interesting and simplistic way which is fantastic for children (and adults!). Lovely illustrations and lots to keep an inquiring mind busy.

I bought it because I was at a loss to explain the brain and what's going on in our head to my children. I was delighted to find the series ''See inside'', from Usborne. We have a few Usborne books at home and I do trust them. My children really loved this one, from the smallest (5)to the biggest (12). They enjoyed discovering what was behind the flaps and the writting is very child friendly. One thing my little girl said of the book (among other things) was: ''Mummy, I know why I forget to do things. I have Alzheimer disease, look, it is in the book.''. Even though Alzheimer disease is no laughing matter, I thought it was rather sweet the way she learned about it. I then could explain to her what it was.
