This is a superb read. Sit down and read it to your children in one go as the tension builds to a crescendo. You'll wonder if it is suitable to continue but don't stop. Rest assured the ending is ok and not too scary for younger children. Older children can read it themselves. My 9 yearold daughter found it very helpful when learning how to create tension in her own writing. This book enables children to discuss a sensitive issue from the possition of a casual observer and we found it helpful to discuss Nicky's options at various stages of the story. A1++++
