This is pure genius! I have never before felt compelled to review an album on here, but the fact that no one else had said how great this is was frankly unacceptable.
Anyone who bought and Ralph Myerz's previous album and EP will have a pretty good idea what to expect from this. There are lots of good moments. As the band go through their various different stylistic influences, there are moments of disco, hip hop, eighties electronica, as well as moments of incredibly beautiful chilled reflection. One interesting difference betweent this album and previous offerings is that it appears to be much less sample driven, and instead the band have put together a more traditional album, that is incredibly varried, with a tune for everyone and every mood. Buy it! Now!

Ralph Myerz & the Jack Herren band were the best band I saw at Reading 05 by far!! Performance wise they had the crowd eating out of their palms!! The music was intelligent, beautiful and funky and seeing them live you get to truely appreciate the talent needed to perform it!!!! I'd have been worn out after standing on drums and jumping up and down for an hour like that!
Buy this album. I can't find one fault!

Have just returned from a festival where I saw an amazing percussion based set from this outfit. It was a truly dynamic and entertaining show from four Norwegians whom I hope to see and hear a lot more from in the future. Can't wait to get this album.

This really is a great album and there are some excellent tracks on the album. As others state this goes well with the nightmares on wax album "In a Space outta sound"

Check it out.
