Although this book was published in 1995, it remains a good book to read if you're thinking about owning a classic car.

This book puts equal emphasis on saloons and sport cars. Too often I find, when people talk about classic cars, they are talking about MGs, E-Types, Triumph convertibles etc and the attraction of owning a Morris Minor or Triumph Herald is lost.

Recommended but I also suggest ypu read a more modern book as well as things have moved on over the last 19 years.

Bought as a present for a classic car enthusiast who is not a big reader, desperate to buy his first classic - read cover to cover many times, a big hit
