I enjoyed reading this book, it's always fun to have a go the fundamentalists. However the arguments are very derivative and clearly owe much to Dawkins et al, not that this necessarily spoils it. What does make it difficult to read is the peculiar language. In very many places words are used wrongly eg: "knowing that the destruction of the world 'wreaks' forth"; and tautology, as in "a necessary need" and so on. This means you have to keep stopping to try to work out what is actually meant. The author has been badly served by his proof readers. However, if that doesn't bother you, give it a go, if mindless fundamentalism infuriates you, this book will help you to let off steam. However, although it is an enjoyable read, nevertheless the subject is in fact a very serious one, and books like this are an important means of waking people up to what is happening in the world. Like many other people I strongly believe that religious fundamentalism is the greatest threat to our civilisation since nazism, and writers who point out the danger are performing a real service. In this regard it is an important book.

It all made sense. What a relief that someone put into words what all of us should know. I was gripped by the information and logic of it and would recommend it to anyone.I hope many more like minded readers find this and learn the truth.

Not the greatest writer, but an enjoyable book and kept my interest throughout. Can't fault the author's passion for his subject.
