Are you listening to what your deepest self is trying to tell you? An enlightening journey to self-discovery, this guide clearly explains what your dreams really mean. Decoding these mysterious messages from the unconscious will provide you with the tools for self-development, for happier relationships, and further career success and Tony Crisp, best-selling author and dream counselor for over 30 years, shows you how. Tony decodes the dreams and gives staightforward interpretations to the most frequently-dreamed dream symbols and images that reveal the meaning of your own dream message. The first section includes exercises, over 40 True Dream stories and questionnaires that show you how to make the most of your dreams, including how to recall your dreams and how to understand key symbols. A comprehensive dictionary of dream symbols makes up the main section of the book; over 1200 dream images and symbols are revealed in detail, with meanings and interpretations given for each. The directory includes the most significant people and places of the dream world, including dream archetypes, the all-powerful messengers of the subconscious, as well as landscape and environment, spiritual symbols, animals and birds, and significant objects. This fact-packed reference book will provide you with a wealth of fascinating information to help you unlock the power of your dreams.

More About the Author

Now I am fully involved in writing my new book Dream Dictionary Ultimate. It is a long job. I decided that on June 23rd of 2012 I will start working on the new book. Signs of this will appear fairly soon on the site as I put all new writing straight on DreamHawk, and my son Leon is thinking of publishing the new book with Chomu Press (http://chomupress.com/), his and my other son Quentin's publishing company.

But on the 11th of April 2013 I published a revised version of The New Dream Dictionary. It is a much fuller and comprehensive book with a wonderful and full Dream Encyclopedia included. As such I think it is a leader in its field.

A user of the old dictionary wrote - Tony - I have had your book for over twenty five years and worn it until the binding has to be held together with a rubber band. How helpful it has been for me time and time again when I just needed a new perspective to help me reach understanding. Dreams have helped me overcome tremendous challenges and been my guiding light. Thanks for helping to facilitate this critical connection for me and for so many others. This website (dreamhawk.com) is fantastic!

And that was the old version, so I look forward to see what response the new edition brings.

2.0 out of 5 stars I was expecting more from this book. It didn't even have basic dream words to look up. It was pretty. I would not suggest it 15 Jun 2013

For someone like myself, having such a limited dictionary for dream interpretation is not only frustrating, but disappointing. The book arrived in good shape and was shipped in a timely manner. The pictures are pretty and this will make a lovely coffee table book to look at-if you don't really need a detailed dream interpretation.
