Excellent book! 19 July 1999

Format:Paperback
Whether you are just starting out or have been doing this a while, I consider this book an invaluable resource. I tend to be one of those information pack-rats with notes and bits of knowledge scattered all over the place. I never could come up with a good organizational system for my Book of Shadows until now. Ms. Telesco wrote a straight forward, easy to read book that covers every step from how to create the paper for your book up to what sections to consider including. In addition she has included information from her own Book of Shadows for each section that makes this a valuable reference book as well. I definitely consider this book to be one of the "must-haves" in my library.

For the disorganized 18 Jan 2003

I was going through book of shadows chaos! I had several books, ring binders etc and it was making me go mad! This book, gave me a strict guide to set up my book of shadows putting everything i had in one ring binder under 13 different sections, and with a normal notebook for the journal/creative side of the Path. Although i dont follow what she has written now, it gave me a huge start into organising my Book, and then coming up with my OWN way of organising my Book - rather than looking up on websites to see how others set up their Book and copy their way. At the end of the day, its what works for you thats the best!
Another thing i LOVE about this book, is the creative ideas into actually making your book far more interesting. Making scented inks, pressing flowers and herbs into pages etc make your book something to be proud of, and something you'll cherish! I love writing in my book now, because its not a boring working book, but a beautiful personalized working book! The correspondence lists are great things to add into your book if you havent already got them, including correspondences to food and drink - something you dont think about very often.
All in all a fantastic book that every Pagan should have if they have a boring or/and disorganised Book of Shadows.
