Your Body, Your Baby, Your Birth: The Essential Guide to Feeling Confident at Every Stage of Your Pregnancy and Birth

I found 'Your Body, Your Baby, Your Birth' to be clear, informative and very reassuring throughout my pregnancy. Jenny Smith's beautifully written book changed my attitude towards birth, teaching me techniques and encouraging a positive mental attitude and I'm now even looking forward to it! I would recommend 'Your Body, Your Baby, Your Birth' to anyone wanting clear, friendly and positive advice for a confident pregnancy and birth.

Having read a number of pregnancy & birthing books before this one I wasn't sure what else I could learn but Jenny Smith really came up trumps. The practical & informative style is really refreshing and yet she also injects a personal flavour that keeps you engaged. She gives you all the important medical info but is also open to alternative approaches to birth and doesn't expect that every mother should be following the normal hospital route. It has definitely gone to the top of the list of books I'd recommend to friends also expecting.

This excellent book tells you everything you need to know about pregnancy in short clear paragraphs. It also tells you what hospitals are like and what will happen when you get there.
The other books I tried to read all sent me to sleep but I read this from cover to cover in two days.
Other writers also often seemed to have some kind of philosophical agenda they were pressing... Jenny is straightforward and informative and she writes in a friendly confidence inspiring way.
If you only buy one book buy this one.
