From the Inside Flap

Learning to fly a plane is a skill that takes years of training. Yet when it comes to piloting our own lives, many of us leave this vital task to chance-and then wonder why it all crash-lands before our eyes.
In this inspiring and entertaining book, Fabrizio Poli explores the flight-path to happy, successful living, from positive thought and action, to nurturing ourselves by 'decluttering' the mind, body and spirit.
Written in an exuberant, energetic style, and accompanied by equally vibrant cartoon illustrations, Your Attitude Determines Your Altitude shows how in life, gaining altitude really is a question of attitude. --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

I really enjoyed reading this book. The style is easy and the book is laid out so you can read straight through it or dip into it. Although it perhaps tries to cover too many areas, offering advice on happy marriages and correct eating habits, the ideas are always thought-provoking and you are constantly asked to questions your assumptions. Whether you want to succeed in business, be a successful leader or, more importantly, know more about yourself and how your mind works then you'll find a lot to think about in these pages.

The title captures the tone and approach of the book - it's full of good humour and cleverly twists your perception of previously held conceptions. This book is for anyone who wants to be a `life-long learner'

"There are many occasions in life when you may wonder "why me?" or "why do I bother?" or "is this the best life has to offer?"
Despite a well prepared flight plan, there are almost always unexpected events which can and will impact upon you, interrupt your journey and distract you from your destination.
Many times these unforeseen circumstances will require a re-evaluation of your original goal or prompt some other course of action previously unconsidered. Perhaps it's employment issues, health challenges, domestic changes or lack of proper perspective which may prompt us to feel we are a 'victim' leading to self pity and doubt.
Fabrizios book, using stories from the lives of successful people, and his own world of flying, coupled with nuggets of wisdom from numerous sources, makes a fascinating read and, without being too preachy, suggests personal reflection and self evaluation.
There is no magic formula for success for every individual. However, more than anything else for me, in his book, there comes across the powerful message that change starts from within. The stronger ones self motivation to take control of ones life, the greater chances of self fulfilment and personal satisfaction.
There is no more tangible evidence of the way this approach can change lives, open doors and bring happiness than the author himself!"

A very well-researched book. Easy to read, I find myself reading and reading and hard to put it down. I like the summarised page or recap of each chapter. It has many life experience of real people that can relate to many readers. I didn't know about Jackie Chan's story and was good to learn about him.

This book has covered all aspect of life including, work, family, health, spirituality and etc. As I read this book, I seem to get to know the author, his personality and his attitude, his values and his family. Very Inspiring and has given me alot to think about and learn from. Highly recommended.

I've thoroughly enjoyed reading this fanatastic book! It is easy to read with fun and appropriate animation. Poli keeps you hanging on, wanting more, which makes it a hard book to put down. Another thing I really like about the book is that at the end of every chapter, there is a summary of that chapter as well as a preview of what's coming up next. I have been inspired to go and do more and make more of my life. Thanks to Fabrizio Poli, I know I can achieve things I only ever dreamed of. The potential is in me as I know it is in all of us to accomplish much more with our lives than what most of us do. My attitude is more positive than it has been in the past and I can already feel the change in me and I'm loving it! I so recommend this book for all those who want to have more in their lives and be happier. Poli also brings family values into his book which adds to its attractiveness. His family is obviously very important to him. He teaches us how to be better family members and have happier family relationships. Most of us need that. It really is a part of wealth and prosperity although it's not something that many would have thought of before. Both thumbs up for this one! It's a book that you can refer to again and again for motivation and encouragement to go get your dreams! They can be accomplished! I'm excited to go get mine! I hope he has another book on the way. I'll be looking forward to getting that one too!

This book is an excellent starting point for anyone venturing into the "self help" book maze. Whether it's career, relationship, lifestyle, or diet changes, or just wondering why we do things a certain way and would like to change them for the better, this book tells you how to start. It shows how often we do things by "autopilot," often acting because we have always acted that way, without thought for the consequences (both for ourselves and others, and for the present and the future). Fabrizio's solutions to our "autopilot" behaviours are told through enlightening personal stories that help us to arrive at our own solutions. In all, it is very well written and thoroughly enjoyable.

I loved this book from the first page. It made me think about what is going on in my own life and what I want from it. Not only think about it but to aim higher and demand more from life. It sits perfectly alongside all the great motivational books/tapes that I have on my shelf: Brian Tracey, Tony Robbins, Zig Ziglar.....If there is room for improvement in your life then Fabrizio's book is for you. Warning: You may never be the same again.
