I am pleased I bought this book. The tone is honest but at the same time supportive. I am not happy being so big and I needed this book to kick start me. If you are like me and not happy with the way you look this book is a really good read because it is honest and motivating. It is easy to read and gives you tasks to carry out which really help you get stonger in yourself to lose weight.

This Steve Miller is a GENIUS! I was a 22 stone, lazy, overweight slob, with nothing in my life except food. I tried all weight-loss plans, classes and other books, however they all seemed to give me an excuse for my weight. But since reading this book, it has made me realise that I was just plain lazy and the straight talking, no non-sense approach, gave me a kick in the right direction. I knew I had to change as my partner just gave birth to our first child, and I don't want her to grow up and follow up in my "fatty" footsteps. It has given me the confidence and power to believe in myself. HIGHLY recommended.

This book was bought for me by my wife as I want to lose 3 stones in weight having had a medical scare. The book is really easy to read and to be honest I found it very motivational. There is a lot of humour as well which keeps you gripped. I don't like books that are full of food advice and this defintely doesn't go down that route.

The most interesting bit for me was the mind support techniques which are helping me to control cravings and eating too much. I do need to cut down and this book has motivated me to do that.
