Back in the 1970's there were many great bands that came into their own and changed rock and roll forever. One of those bands was City Boy, who were a little bit of pop, lots of rock and roll, but also progressive at the same time. 'Young Men Gone West' was one of 7 albums from this talented and skilled band that was one of their best. I am almost 50 and still love this band, especially their great guitarist Mike Slamer (Streets, Seventh Key, Steelhouse Lane and solo artist) who is still making great music today. My musical tastes are highly varied but enjoy progressive rock and roll best (Neal Morse, Jordan Rudess, It Bites, Kino, etc). City Boy is a great listen and 'Young Men Gone West' is one of City Boy's best efforts. All their albums are worth buying, although this one may be their best effort.
