This is an interactive book, which asks questions such as what do mummy and daddy do to make you feel special? What special things do you do? It says how God makes you and how he loves you and that this makes you special. It also briefly describes that we are different (big, small etc) but are all special. There is even a mirror in the book for the children to look at and see themselves. It's not really a story, more a basis for discussion, and only appropriate if you want to introduce your children to God.

Nice little story but there is alot of text to get through on each page and the young ones under 4 years get impatient with the wait to turn the page since its such a small book ( about the same size as a cd case ) It would be better with a more simplified narrative though the suprise at the back always has the children wanting it again

I gave this little book a 4* because it uses very simple language and explanation for a child with a perception of individualism to understand the what makes them special and different from others and how they are part of a whole structure of social interaction. It is a good teacher of social behaviour.
