After using Emma's first book `The Baby Making Bible' to help me conceive I'm delighted to have her next book as a companion through this pregnancy!
This book is packed with useful tips from breathing, to yoga positions, to recipes and much more. The book is interwoven with beautiful examples from Emma's own life and other pregnant women that it feels like having a positive friend with you at all times - a much needed antidote to the overwhelming advice and negative stories from well meaning family, friends and strangers! It's an empowering read!

When I found out I was pregnant I was inundated with books from friends, but `You and Your Bump' is definitely my favourite with a more holistic approach & personal insight into pregnancy. Now in my third trimester I have re-read the `preparing for labour' and `birth' chapters countless times which has rreassured me about the processes (both holistically and medically) that I am soon to be experiencing. In conjunction with recommending acupuncture, she also includes acupressure points to try at home as well as yoga positions & recipes. I'm looking forward to the breastfeeding & post natal chapters to take me through the next few months! A great `bible' for anyone who is looking for an informative, clear guide to pregnancy with a definite personal touch.

What a relief! 7 Jun 2011
Format:Paperback
You and Your Bump is just what I need at this particular moment in time. Being pregnant myself, I find reading this book is rather like having a very knowledgable, reliable and trustworthy friend beside the bed. This book takes you step by step through your pregnancy, how your body will change, why, what you might expect and with extremely helpful suggestions on what to eat (delicious recipes) and how to excercise. I wish it had been out when I was pregnant with my first!
