Got really excited the first time I heard this track. Something really original about it; I loved it on first play, but suspected I'd get even more into it on subsequent listens...& I was right. There's a retro feel reminiscent of 50s girl bands, but equally, something very fresh and new. They've been compared to the Raveonettes & the Cocteau Twins (the latter are lead-singer Susanne Aztoria's favourite band.) Having checked out the album, Ester, I'm planning on downloing it. Judging by the samples, it seems to show more evidence of their experimental side and I would say Wish you were Red is probably one of their more mainstream poppy tracks. But I just love Susanne's voice & I think Trailer Trash Tracys are likely to feature frequently on my playlist.
