An amazing book covering the life of a girl called Josie,who is attempting to start a new life at college, but she cannot forget about a spooky figure called Alex, who played a very important part in Josie's life. Every other chapter is about Josie, at the age of 18, and the next one is about Alex, being only 11. It is a very mysterious book, at times quite spooky, with a strange, unexpected ending which makes the whole storyline suddenly fall in to place. I would recommend this chilling book to any teenager or adult who want a gripping read.

Glover's story written in the voice of a teenager burdened with a terrible secret grips the reader's attention from the start. Why is Josie is so terrified that someone might connect with her former life? Now 18 she remembers events that took place on a run down council estate when she was 11. Who is the mysterious and menacing Alex? There's a clever twist half way through - look out for it.
