Book Description

A series of short interconnected tales set in the Ark Project Universe.

Several hundred years in the future and humanity has reached the stars. Great fleets are sent out to look for intelligent alien life, little do they know that first contact will come from a most unlikely place.
What should have been a momentous and great occasion instead turns into something that leads humanity down a dark and dangerous path. There are some who refuse to follow this new path and plan in one form or other to rebel.
However, these plans prove futile in the face of a truly alien and deadly foe that threatens everyone.

A Novelette of 14,800 words, this is a future science fiction story.

This is the first book in The Ark Project Trilogy. The complete Ark Project Trilogy is also available as a complete set.

More About the Author

TJ Hudson lives in Yorkshire, UK. Although his body resides there his mind can often be found wandering away to who knows where.

He decided it was about time these meanderings into the land of imagination were written down, and just maybe make some sense of it all.

2.0 out of 5 stars First Contact with Author Shows Promise, but little else. 15 Feb. 2013

This isn't so much a novella as it is a loose collection of scenes centered around first contact with an alien federation, and subsequent conflict. There are some fun ideas here, but the narrative gaps often left this reader wandering lost. The Ark Project suffers from the usual indie author woes - the lack of editing is all too obvious. This is a first draft of a promising story that was shoved out the door before it was ready.

I have no doubt that TJ Hudson can author a good tale, but this slipshod offering is not it.

I must agree with the other review - there's really not a lot going on in this story.
I like SF, but this is just a hodgepodge of separate scenes and for the life of me, I can't figure out the real story line here.
TJ Hudson, don't quit your day job just yet......
