You Never Know 25 Sep 2011
Format:Paperback
I have to admit to being a huge fan of Claire Lorrimer and this book does not disappoint at all, for one thing it has a great selection of wonderful photographs, an absolute 'must' in all biographies.
It is quite sad when she is reminiscing about the war years but it is so evocative of another lifetime. There are also some hilarious moments, namely the goat with 'false teeth' I was sitting on a crowded bus heading over the Harbour Bridge home, reading that page and just burst out laughing. I had tears rolling down my face, consequently there were a few smiles at me.

It is written with such love and pride, conjuring up pictures for me on every page, I particularly loved reading about her immediate family and Mel, he does sound and look a dream!!! I hope you both have many many happy times ahead Ms Lorrimer.
